This piece was produced in the process of learning the egg tempera technique. As its name suggests, this pigment technique uses egg yolk as a binding agent, which results in a very unique velvety texture and matt finish. The picture is based on a photograph that was chosen especially for its beauty, and the idea was to portray it as accurately as possible.
The original painting is made in egg tempera on wood. Dimensions: 40 x 60 cm
The table on which the work was created is also made by hand using beech plywood. For this reason, the size does not correspond to any standard measure.
